The Julius Wolff Institute is organized into nine research areas. Each research team consists of principal investigators as well as research assistants, PhD students and postgraduates from various disciplines including engineering, chemistry and biology. A tight collaboration between the teams, as well as with the Center of Musculoskeletal Surgery (CMSC), ensures an active and interdisciplinary exchange of research ideas and findings within the institute.

In organizational and technical areas, the scientists are supported by the administration team as well as technical and medical-technical assistants.
