Andrea Ode receives Lydia-Rabinovich scholarship
Andrea Ode, project manager at the Julius Wolff Institute and Berlin-Brandenburg Centre for Regenerative Therapies has successfully applied for a Lydia-Rabinowitsch Scholarship at the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
The fellowship is announced annually within the framework of the promotion of women and is aimed at women scientists who have had to interrupt their academic career for family reasons and who would now like to qualify for a responsible top position in research and teaching.
As part of her research project on the investigation of the role of purine receptors in the regulation of human mesenchymal stem cells, the scientist and mother of a 10-month-old daughter, who earned her doctorate in 2010, is receiving funding for six months. The grant with a total amount of 6,000 € can be used for personnel as well as for consumables.
