Intelligent Sole for Shoes Will Make Jogging Easier

Back to Overview

You are here:

A Munich based startup introduced a sole to be embedded into a shoe for measuring various parameters while jogging and running. Scientists of the Julius Wolff Institute contributed to the development of this new product.

The sole was first shown to the public during the Internationale Sportartikelmesse ISPO (international main exhibition for sport business) in Munich in January 2016. The sole sends data to a smartphone based app and will help to ameliorate the running and jogging style. Our scientists contributed into the development of the system. More information will be found in press and on the startup's homepage.
