A new study, published by authors of the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, Cambridge, USA, showed that mechanically driven therapies could promote skeletal muscle regeneration.Georg Duda, director of the Julius Wolff Institute, contributed to this study. The results of this study could replace or enhance drug and cell-based therapies for severe muscle injuries in the future.
