We are using drug releasing materials to spatially and temporally regulate distinct tissue formation.
Our field of interest is in bone regeneration and in the bone-cartilage interface in articulating joints.
Mimicking developmental processes and the native mechanical environment we try to control tissue regeneration.
We are also actively looking at alternative for growth factors to stimulate cellular processes. For this we are looking into the role of matrix mechanics and in ionic stimulation.
