Tendon and Bone Regeneration

We are an interdisciplinary research group working tightly together with the clinical colleagues. This cooperation gives us the possibility to identify the problems in orthopedic and trauma surgery and to work on new strategies to solve them.

We investigate the regeneration of the musculoskeletal system with the focus on tendon pathologies, bone regeneration and infection prophylaxis and treatment. The overall goal of all studies is to achieve a better understanding of biological processes and to develop perspectives improved therapies for the patient.
